The oatmeal gently exfoliates the skin, while the apple and milk work as an astringent and eliminates the excess oil to make the skin soft and supple.
• Pineapple mask to remove dead skin cells – Blend a slice of pineapple along with the juice of an orange and a lemon and two tablespoons of atta. Apply the paste evenly on the face and wash it off with lukewarm water. The coarse texture of the pineapple along with its potent enzymes help exfoliates the dead skin cells, while the citric acid in the fruits brightens dark spots.
• Strawberry face mask for open pores – Mix mashed berries with a teaspoon of crushed mint, rose water, 2 teaspoons of oatmeal and a pinch of camphor. Apply it evenly and wash off after 20 minutes. Strawberries are beneficial for dull and oily skin and when mixed with mint and rose water, it hydrates the skin and eliminates excess oil build-up.
