3 Eye Exercises in Yoga


Eye health is very vital for every human being. Yoga does wonders in maintaining the eye health and prevent various ailments. It strengthens the eye muscles and rectifies certain eye problems. 1. Gaze shifting: Sit up straight and choose a point on which gaze can focus for a while without any strain. And then shift to point to gaze on point to focus down effortlessly. Breathe normally and avoid moving your head or any other part of the body.

2. Palming: Rub your palm until they are heated and place them over your eyes to relax and to reduce strain.

3. Rotating eyeballs: Move your eyeballs right to left and relax by placing your palms over the eyes. Then move your eye balls from left top to right bottom and vice-versa.

  1. Great post with so much information. Recently, I started to practice yoga at a well-known Yoga and Meditation Centre near my home. Even though I am aware of a lot of health benefits of yoga, this is the first time I came to know about how it benefits our eyes health. Keep posting.
